There’s no doubt why the makjang series entered the streaming giant’s top 10 TV shows and even ascended to higher ranks each day.
Remarriage and Desires Episode 8 Recap: Jin Yoo Hee Reached Out to Her Estranged Father
Driven by her anger, desire for revenge, and grief, Seo Hye Seung wants to end things with Jin Yoo Hee, even if it means killing her.
At the hospital, Hibull CEO Lee Hyung Ju learned about the person behind Kang Min Ji’s accident and confronted Jin Yoo Hee about it.
Of course, she denied it, noting that he has no proof that she ordered the killing of Hye Seung’s daughter.
However, deep inside, she’s shaken by her confrontation with Hyung Ju and asks his estranged father, Congressman, and presidential candidate Son Pil Young to get rid of Hye Seung.
In return, she will leave him alone, as if she didn't exist.
At this point, influential persons have been involved with Jin Yoo Hee’s greed and revelations are about to get exposed.
Lee Hyung Ju is about to lose Hibull and being his mentor, Congressman Son Pil Young has given him an opportunity to save his company and that is his union with Jin Yoo Hee.
He is pushing the duo’s marriage for the benefit of clearing his name with his relationship with Yoo Hee.
However, his executive assistant Go Ae Ran wanted her daughter Jung Mi Jin to martyr the Hibull CEO but for the Congressman, he had to prioritize the benefit he will get with the possible union.
With this, he made a deal of getting rid of Hye Seung whatever it takes.

Seo Hye Seung Figures Out Jin Yoo Hee’s Connection with the Presidential Candidate
Trying to gather evidence that will put Jin Yoo Hee behind bars, she recovered her late husband’s phone and learned that Yoo Hee is Son Pil Young’s illegitimate lawyer.
She managed to clear her name from the murder case, all thanks to her father.
However, it seems like Hye Seung is using this to punish Yoo Hee. That is by warning Son Pil Young that his secret will be exposed once he helps his daughter.
Given that he has been a politician for decades, Son Pil Young was unfazed by Hye Seung’s warning.
Instead, he ordered his right-hand woman, Go Ae Ran to kill Hye Seung.
Remarriage and Desires episode 8 is not all about power, wealth, and greed but saving oneself from the pit of fire.
It came after Ae Ran did what the presidential candidate instructed him and sent receipts showing how she got rid of Hye Seung.
Jin Yoo Hee’s Face her End
Although it may seem like never-ending revenge between the two women, Lee Hyung Ju steps in to help Hye Seung.
After meeting Yoo Hee in the lobby, he surprised her with a proposal. Through a press briefing, they are officially announcing the upcoming union between Hyung Ju and Yoo Hee.
Despite being taken aback by Hyung Ju’s surprise, Yoo Hee was teary-eyed as she looked at her dress and what Lee Hyung Ju had prepared for her.
Interestingly, just when she thought there would be a marriage announcement, she was surprised at Hyung Ju’s next move.
The CEO exposed Yoo Hee’s connection with the presidential candidate and how the father and daughter planned on killing Hye Seung.
On the other hand, Son Pil Young was surprised that Ae Ran betrayed him and cooperated with Hye Seung’s plan instead of him.
Ae Ran pointed out that she initially warned the congressman not to get associated with Yoo Hee, but he shrugged it off.
As for the politician's right-hand woman, she saved herself and her daughter from the possible controversy that she might be involved with Son Pil Young.
Kim Hee Sun’s Marriage
In the last scene of Remarriage and Desires episode 7, Seo Hye Seung walked down the aisle with Cha Seok Jin waiting for her at the altar.
However, he tells her that he wanted her to be happy, so instead of him, Lee Hyung Ju appeared as the groom.
