This upcoming anime was announced just a few days ago, and it is an adaptation of a light novel series of the same name.
As you may have guessed, this series is an isekai, but it will have a slightly different take on the genre that’s rather reminiscent of some newer titles.
Isekai Light Novel Series Reincarnated as the Daughter Anime Adaptation Revealed
Officially titled Reincarnated as the Daughter of the Legendary Hero and the Queen of Spirits, this light novel series was written by Matsuura and was published between March 2018 and October 2022.
The light novel volumes featured illustrations by the artist keepout – a familiar name to some isekai fans. That’s because keepout is also the illustrator of the Parallel World Pharmacy novels.
Even though the novel series ended back in 2022, the series continues in the form of the manga adaptation that’s serialized in Monthly Big Gangan. Internationally, the manga is available on Manga UP!
As with most isekai series, Reincarnated as the Daughter’s incredibly long title essentially spells out its premise.
Its story follows a young girl named Ellen, who is reincarnated from modern Japan to a fantasy world as a half-spirit.
There, Ellen is the daughter of the legendary hero Rovel. Ellen also has a powerful ability to manipulate elements. She uses this along with her modern Japanese knowledge to protect her new family.

Some anime shows are announced with teaser trailers. Typically, shows that get announced with trailers and cast/staff info have release dates that are just months away.
Given that the Reincarnated as the Daughter of a Legendary Hero anime has no other info yet, making release date predictions can be a bit of a challenge.
Other shows that get revealed without much info typically only get released after a year, with some even taking two or more years to premiere.
Thus, it’s likely that the Reincarnated as the Daughter anime’s release is still well over a year away. This means fans may need to wait until 2025 for this anime to air.
