Reborn Rich, Extraordinary Attorney Woo Voted as K-Dramas With Worst Ending

Viewers have voted for the K-drama with the worst ending with Reborn Rich and Extraordinary Attorney Woo topping the list.

In a report obtained by AllKPop, community portal site, DC Inside, came up with a poll from January 2 to 8 with a survey of “What is the most memorable drama with the worst ending?”

With the results released on January 9, Song Joong Ki’s drama lands first place.


Reborn Rich Ending Failed to Satisfy Viewers

The survey garnered a total of 20, 497 votes with 6,857 of it being for Reborn Rich.

Although the series garnered much praise during the season run, viewers expressed their disappointment during the final episode.

At the time, Reborn Rich episode 16 became a trending topic online along with the audience’s mixed reaction towards the drama.

For some, Song Joong Ki’s drama failed to live up to public expectations. Meanwhile, others compared the webtoon to the live adaptation.

To recall, the original storyline featured Jin Do Joon mourning Yoon Hyun Woo’s death. He also ended up marrying Seo Min Young but in the JTBC series, Yoon Hyun Woo recalled the life of Jin Do Joon.

Extraordinary Attorney Woo Voted as Second K-drama With Worst Ending

Landing in second place is Extraordinary Attorney Woo with 2,712 votes or 14 percent.

It stars Park Eun Bin, Kang Ki Young, and Kang Tae Oh with the drama showcasing the journey of 27-year-old Woo Young Woo who was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder but despite it, she managed to enter a top-notch law firm.

After the drama ended with 16 episodes, the smash hit ENA series also gained disappointment after viewers were dismayed with the loveline of Woo Young Woo and Lee Joon Ho, played by Kang Tae Oh.

Entering third place is Twenty-Five, Twenty-One headlined by Kim Tae Ri and Nam Joo Hyuk.

Featuring the 90s era, the coming-of-age K-drama showcase the complicated romance of the main characters.

However, despite the on-screen chemistry of Nam Joo Hyuk and Kim Tae Ri, Twenty-Five, Twenty-One gained criticism for glamourizing a relationship between a minor and someone who is older than her.

As for the drama finale, viewers were also disappointed after the show featured a breakup between the main cast member.

Being third as the K-drama with the worst ending, Twenty-Five, Twenty-One garnered 2,558 or 13 percent votes.
