The new Re:Zero season is inching ever closer, and now, fans can mark their calendars and ready their subscriptions. That’s because Re: Zero season 3 is officially going to be streamed on Crunchyroll in October 2024, making it one of the platforms’ highlight titles for the fall 2024 season.
Crunchyroll recently announced that it has acquired the streaming rights to a couple of new shows later in 2024.
Out of the new titles though, Re:Zero no doubt has the most hype behind it, especially given how long it has been since the second season ended its run.
Crunchyroll Reveals More Shows Later This Year
Even though we’re still in the middle of the spring 2024 season, Crunchyroll has already confirmed a selection of new shows that will be streamed later this year.
These shows were announced at CCXP Mexico on May 5.
Three new shows were confirmed, among them is Nina the Starry Bride, a new anime by Signal.MD, the studio behind titles such as FLCL Progressive, Kizuna no Allele, and The Fire Hunter.
The upcoming anime is promising, as it’s based on the manga of the same name that won a Kodansha Manga Award in 2022.
Crunchyroll will stream Nina the Starry Bride in October 2024, but for fantasy and romance anime fans who are already curious about it, the manga is published in English by Kodansha USA.
Another anime that’s part of Crunchyroll’s new lineup is Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister. This is another anime based on a manga of the same name published by Kodansha USA.
Handling animation duties for this show is Drive, the studio behind KonoSuba season 3, and To Your Eternity season 2. Unlike Nina though, Tying the Knot does not have a release date window so far.

Re:Zero Season 3: Crunchyroll Release Date Predictions
Three years have passed since the last episode of Re:Zero season 2. Now, fans won’t have to wait much longer, as the third season is officially coming to Crunchyroll later this year.
To be exact, Crunchyroll confirmed that it will stream the series this October in the following regions: North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.
The other shows highlighted at CCXP Mexico will also be streamed in the regions listed above.
For now, there’s no word yet on a specific release date for Re:Zero season 3. There’s also no confirmation of an episode count, though it’s likely going to have 25 episodes given that the previous two seasons are that long.
