Ray Fisher in Talks to Return as Cyborg in The Flash Movie with Ezra Miller Amidst Warner Bros. Battle

We already know that we'll be seeing more of Cyborg in Zack Snyder's Justice League. However, it looks like Victor Stone could also play a major role in the upcoming The Flash movie. A new report reveals that Ray Fisher is currently in talks to reprise his role and reunite with Justice League co-star Ezra Miller in the standalone DC Extended Universe flick.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Fisher is in negotiations to appear in The Flash. This would mean that Cyborg is supposed to appear with Barry Allen as well as the two Batmans played by Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton.

Although this is exciting news, there are still a few problems for Fisher. The update is only part of a report that Warner Bros. is claiming Fisher isn't cooperating with the investigation on the alleged misconduct by filmmaker Joss Whedon and producers Geoff Johns and Jon Berg. Moreover, the studio has defended DC Films president Walter Hamada, who Fisher claims tried to make him relent on Johns.

"At no time did Mr. Hamada ever 'throw anyone under the bus,' as Mr. Fisher has falsely claimed, or render any judgments about the Justice League production, in which Mr. Hamada had no involvement since filming occurred before Mr. Hamada was elevated to his current position," a spokesperson for Warner Bros. said in a statement.

It's a complicated situation for Warner Bros. and Fisher at the moment. However, fans are hoping that it would work out in the end so that Cyborg can make an appearance in The Flash.

The Flash movie is expected to begin production next year. It is currently scheduled for release on June 3, 2022.
