The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the premiere of Tom Cruise's Top Gun: Maverick premiere in London. The royal couple looked stunning in their matching outfits.
Kate Middleton was gorgeous in her black-and-white off-the-shoulder dress designed by Roland Mouret. The duchess ditched her signature blow-dry curls and opted for a sleek look and let her straight fall on her shoulders.
Her husband, Princ William, complemented her look by wearing a black classic tuxedo. The Duke of Cambridge looked dapper in his outfit, Us Weekly reported.
The event also served as a fundraiser for The Film and TV Charity, supporting the people working behind the scenes of TV and film productions in the United Kingdom.
Prince William Jealous After Tom Cruise Held His Wife Kate Middleton's Hand?
One of the things that didn't go unnoticed to eagle-eyed royal fans was the time when Tom Cruise held Kate Middleton's hand to help her up the stairs after they graced the red carpet to make their way inside the theater. Some immediately speculated that the actor's chivalry made the future king jealous.
"They've met so many big names, they're not generally fazed by celebrity, but I think perhaps William knows Kate's dying!" CNN's royal commentator Victoria Arbiter tweeted along with a photo of Cruise holding Middleton's hand.
"I think William was jealous, who wouldn’t want to hold Tom’s hand!!" one commented.
"If I was William, I will be a bit worry, what a gentleman Tom is, you don’t find many now I’m afraid," another jokingly added.
"Oh my gosh, I’m doing!!! Tom cruises and the duchess!!! Two of my most favorite people!! Tom Cruise being such a gentleman!! Love this picture of the royals and Tom Cruise!" a third person added.
Apparently, most are only joking about Prince William being jealous. One even praised the Duke of Cambridge for not being so possessive of his wife, describing him as a "strong confident alpha."
