Prince William and Kate Middleton's youngest son, Prince Louis, 4, hasn't made his first official royal engagement yet because he is still too young. However, he has already made some public appearances.

The toddler has yet to take his first royal tour, a milestone that Archie had already achieved. At 4 months, Archie joined his parents, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, for a 10-day tour.

The family headed to Africa and visited Cape Town and Johannesburg. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were seen with their son when they arrived in Cape Town.

The royal couple shared a video of Archie on Instagram during the tour when he met Archbishop Desmond Tutu.

"Arch meets Archie," the caption read, Town & Country reported.

Prince Louis Could Make His First Royal Engagement Abroad Before The Year Ends?

Although Prince Louis hasn't traveled abroad yet for a royal engagement that might not last long. Some royal experts suspect that the Prince and Princess of Wales will take him when they travel to the United States later this year for the second annual Earthshot Prize Awards ceremony in Boston, Massachusetts.

Royal sources were convinced that Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis will attend the event with their parents as long as it does not interfere with school.

"The King and his family are keen to hit the ground running in these crucial first few months and years of his reign," one expert told Mirror (via Express).

"He certainly wants to carry on the long-held mantra from his late mother of being seen to be believed, and is very keen to get out and meet as many people as possible."

Prince Louis Is Already A Big Boy, Mom Kate Middleton Says

The youngest member of the Cambridge family went viral during the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebration with her funny antics. Prince Louis was seen making a series of faces, sticking out his tongue and putting his thumb to his nose while wiggling his remaining fingers at his mom, Kate Middleton, during a pageant parade.

Prince Louis was also seen with his mouth open and eyes squeezed shut, seemingly reacting to the loud airplane flying during the family's official balcony appearance. Several netizens found Prince Louis' reaction funny and adorable at the same time.

However, according to the Princess of Wales during a visit to the maternity unit of the Royal Surrey County Hospital in England last month, her youngest child is no longer a baby.

"I keep thinking Louis is a baby, but he's a big boy now. It just feels like yesterday," Middleton said as she met a baby named Giles Talbot-Erasu, Hello! reported.
