Prince William and Prince Harry have been at odds with each other for years. And it seems the brothers won’t be able to heal their rift anytime soon. After all, a royal expert believes that the Duke of Sussex’s memoir could cause more harm than good when it comes to the brothers’ relationship.
Prince William, Prince Harry’s Won’t Heal Anytime Soon
During his interview on the ToDiForDaily podcast, royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams talked about Prince William and Prince Harry’s relationship and predicted that their rift won’t be healed anytime soon.
“Both brothers were inseparable. And there’s no doubt that one of the tragedies is that they’ve taken very, very different roads. And I see no, no rift being healed, unfortunately, because what you’re looking at now is a memoir that Harry is writing that’s coming out in the autumn now. The problem is what is going to be in that book. It’s very difficult after Oprah, which is just over a year ago, and I thought it was so destructive, and also open to different interpretations. And they were full of inaccuracies, in a lot of it. As the Queen said, so well...'Some recollections may vary,’” Fitzwilliams said.

Prince Harry Shouldn’t Criticize Prince William’s Wife In His Memoir
The royal commentator added that it wouldn’t do Prince Harry any good if he plans to criticize Kate Middleton in his memoir.
“That is what is thought because it’s very hard to see without exacerbating the feud, the rift with his father and his brother… And also if he were to criticize Catherine, I think that would be very ill-judged! To have a memoir, bringing it out this year… It’s obviously commercially linked,” he said.
But royal author Omid Scobie shut down all the speculations regarding Prince Harry’s upcoming memoir. The author of the Battle of Brothers revealed that the Duke of Sussex would try his best to avoid discussing anything negative in his book.
“I've been told by sources that Harry is going out of his way to make sure there is nothing in there that could be construed as being negative towards the Queen or her reign in any way,” he said.
Prince William, Prince Harry Are Both Too Stubborn To Reconcile
Earlier this month, royal biographer Duncan Larcombe also weighed in on Prince William and Prince Harry’s relationship. He said that the brothers must be feeling a ton of regret but they are also very stubborn to make the first move.
“It's very clear to those that know William that the rift with his brother is not something that he can just forget about. It's very much, as you can imagine, a constant strain. It is for Harry as well, they're both as stubborn as mules.’ Everything else seems to be going right for William at this time, he's riding the crest of a wave in most aspects of his life, but sadly he has the absence of Prince Harry, his brother in his life,” he told OK! magazine UK.
As of late, it’s still unclear whether Prince William and Prince Harry have been talking to each other behind closed doors. But in public, they haven’t had that many chances to reunite.
Prince Harry recently confirmed that he won’t be attending Prince Philip’s memorial service, which would’ve been the perfect opportunity for him to see his older brother in person.
