King Charles turned another year older earlier this week. His son Prince Harry and daughter-in-law Meghan Markle noticeably didn't greet him on his special day publicly.

Did Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Snub King Charles?

The new king turned 74 Monday. He marked the event by releasing a new photo of him on social media.

The royals were expected to greet His Majesty on his special day, especially Prince Harry because he is King Charles' son. However, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had remained mum that day.

Prince Harry and Markle chose not to share a public message for King Charles on their Archewell website, which was updated Sunday, Mirror reported.

The outlet added that it's unclear whether they spoke to the monarch privately. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have quit social media. They haven't been present on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram since they stepped back from their royal duties due to the "hate" they experienced online.

Only Prince William and Kate Middleton greeted His Majesty on social media. "Wishing a very happy birthday to His Majesty The King!" they wrote on Twitter alongside a photo of the king.

How Did Prince Harry's Dad King Charles Celebrate His Birthday?

Last Monday was King Charles' first birthday as the head of the monarchy. He marked the event with two things — he had a fresh photoshoot for the record books and took on a new role from his late father, Prince Philip.

King Charles became the Park Ranger of Windsor Great Park, a position that the late Duke of Edinburgh held for 70 years until his death in 2021. King Charles' grandfather King George VI also held the position in the past.

King Charles was also believed to have had a private dinner with his family on his birthday.
