Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Targeting Prince William And Kate Middleton In Second Trailer Of Netflix Documentary?

This week, Netflix dropped the second trailer of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's anticipated docuseries Harry & Meghan. However, many noticed that the one-minute promo seems to be an attack on the institution as Prince Harry mentioned the "hierarchy of the family" and claimed that there was leaking and planting of stories, calling it a "dirty game."

"What we are seeing is clear attempts to portray [Harry and Meghan] as victims, make sure that Meghan's the new Diana figure," said Richard Eden, journalist and editor of the Daily Mail Diary, Eden Confidential and Palace Confidential broadcast for Mail+, Daily Mail reported. "They are clearly targeting Prince William and Catherine with this talk about the hierarchy."

He noted that Prince Harry and Markle conceded that they got generous favorable coverage over their royal wedding and before that. However, it jumped straight into mentioning the hierarchy in the institution, which Eden was convinced all about Prince William being the heir and priority over Prince Harry, the spare.

"They are referring to Prince William being the heir to the throne and above Prince Harry in the line of succession. They are clearly targeting Prince William and Catherine with this talk about the hierarchy," he added.

Prince Harry also raised eyebrows when the official title of his memoir was announced. His book was called Spare, which many felt referred to his position in the hierarchy, which was long over when Prince William married Middleton and welcomed their first child, Prince George.

Several experts said it was sad that Prince Harry chose to focus on his past instead of moving forward with his own family.

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Playing Victims While Declaring War Against Royal Family?

Aside from highlighting his position in the British hierarchy, Eden was convinced that they were declaring war against the members of the firm.

"Let's be clear. This is a declaration of war against the Royal family. They even use the word war in this trailer," Eden said.

"You've got their high-powered lawyer Jenny Afia from Schillings, who uses this word war, and it's clear that that's what they're aiming."

He also noted that they were playing victims, perhaps to gain sympathy from the viewers.

"What we are seeing is clear attempts to portray them as victims, make sure that Meghan's the new Diana figure," Eden continued. "Will the viewers fall for this? I'm not so sure. Perhaps round the world. But I think in Britain people know the true story."

The first three episodes of Harry & Meghan will stream on Netflix on Thursday. The next three episodes will be dropped next week.
