Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have found themselves at the center of criticisms once again with regard to the Duke of Sussex's memoir, as well as the couple's Netflix docuseries. Following Queen Elizabeth's death, multiple sources have been claiming that the Sussexes are trying to make some major edits to both projects.

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle's Claims Are Contradicting Each Other

According to Page Six, it has reached a point where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are already contradicting each other, as well as the joint claims that they made in their docuseries for Netflix. The couple is also seemingly trying to walk back on the content that they provided themselves.

A source for the publication said that Netflix producers are confused with some of the comments Prince Harry made in his memoir because they were different from what Markle said on camera.

"A lot in the show contradicted what Harry has written, so that was an issue. Then Harry and Meghan made significant requests [to filmmakers] to walk back content they themselves have provided, for their own project," the source added.

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle's Request To Delay Their Netflix Docuseries Was Not Approved

The publication also claimed that Prince Harry and Markle's attempts to delay the release of their docuseries have not been successful. After all, the heads and filmmakers at Netflix want their show to be released in December, shortly after the upcoming season of The Crown airs.

The changes that Prince Harry and Markle want to be included in their docuseries have not been approved either. After all, editing and making changes would require a long period of time, which Netflix could not afford.

"Netflix needs a couple of months to do all of the formatting and dubbing, subtitling and audio — all of that stuff that enables it to launch on the platform," an unnamed Netflix source said.

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Have No Way Out Of Memoir, Netflix Docuseries

Meanwhile, royal author Tom Bower claimed that Prince Harry and Markle are "stuck with the devil," aka the duke's memoir and the couple's Netflix docuseries, because they need the money.

"They need the money and they need it now more than ever because they've got no other source of income. So, I think they're stuck with the devil now," he said (via Sky News).

Bowing out of both lucrative deals could force Prince Harry and Markle to abandon their lavish lifestyle, according to Bower.

The royal author added that the only way for Prince Harry to get out of both projects is if King Charles would step in and bail him out.
