Prince Andrew, the second son of Queen Elizabeth, has been avoiding the limelight for quite some time now, following his departure from royal duties in November 2019 in the wake of a scandal over his relationship with convicted s*x offender Jeffrey Epstein. The brother of Prince Charles, Princess Anne, and Prince Edward even skipped the traditional mid-morning walk to church and attending an earlier service with other members of the royal family last Christmas.
British media claimed that Prince Andrew had made a personal decision to miss the Christmas tradition. Reports have it that the father of Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie does not want to cause any issue during the holiday season, especially since they are celebrating their first Christmas without Prince Philip, who died in April 2021.

Prince Andrew Blocking Prince Charles And Prince William’s Succession Plans?
Nigel Cawthorne told Express UK that Prince Andrew does not agree with the alleged plans of Prince Charles and Prince William to trim down the royal family once they inherit the throne from Queen Elizabeth. Her Majesty has reportedly been slowing down due to her advanced age and her heirs are allegedly getting ready should the monarch decides to step down and let them take over.
The Prince Andrew: Epstein, Maxwell and the Palace author told the publication:
“It is something that Andrew has resisted. There was a bit of a scrap in the Royal Family internally about this matter.”
Nigel Cawthorne said Prince Andrew wants Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice to retain the privileges and protections that accompany their royal titles. Because of this, he totally disagrees with Prince Charles and Prince William in slimming down the monarchy.

Most, if not all, royal fans are aware that the relationship between Prince Andrew and Prince Charles was strained when the Prince of Wales announced that he would pursue a more streamlined model of the monarchy. In July 2021, royal expert Katie Nicholls stated:
"When Charles made his vision for a streamlined monarch very clear around the time of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations, that was a big issue for Prince Andrew. His view was that they had HRH titles therefore they are blood Princesses, therefore they should be full-time working royals. It didn't pan out that way and that definitely caused tensions between the royal brothers."
Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice currently hold full-time positions outside their work for the Royal Family. Prince Andrew and his former wife, Sarah Ferguson, had been reportedly adamant that their daughters received the HRH title.
However, Princess Anne, sister of Prince Andrew, did not reach the same decision. The Princess Royal did not adopt the HRH title on her children – Peter Philips and Zara Tindall.

Prince Andrew has yet to comment on the claims that he is "resisting" Prince Charles and Prince William’s alleged succession plans. Hence, devoted supporters of Sarah Ferguson’s ex-husband should take these unverified reports with a huge grain of salt until everything is proven true and correct.

Meanwhile, an alleged Jeffrey Epstein victim claimed Virginia Roberts told her she slept with Prince Andrew in London. Carolyn Andriano said that Virginia texted her in 2001 saying she was going to have dinner with the Duke of York.
In an interview with The Daily Mail, Carolyn Andriano said:
“I asked her if she'd been to the palace. And she said 'I got to sleep with him'. I said "What? You're f****** with me" and she said "no, I got to sleep with him". She didn't seem upset about it. She thought it was pretty cool. I waive my right to anonymity. I am doing this because I want all young women to know what happened to me when I was a teenager and how it has affected my life. I want to be a voice for all survivors of sexual abuse so that they are not afraid to come forward, even if it is years after the event, and say what happened to them. To recall, the lawyers of Ghislaine Maxwell demanded a retrial following the claim of one of the jurors that he was a s*x abuse victim. Prosecutors, who put Ghislaine in jail, asked the trial judge for a thorough investigation on Scotty David’s claims.
However, Ghislaine Maxwell’s lawyers went further and stated it was “incontrovertible grounds for a new trial. Scotty David is likely to be summoned back to the New York courtroom while Prince Andrew declined to comment.
