Police University Episode 16 picked up where episode 15 left off. Kang Sun Ho decides to quit school and go on with his normal life with his father. Yoo Dong Man resigns as a professor and goes back to being a detective. Years passed, and everyone gathered again for the student's graduation.

When Sun Ho decides to surrender himself to the police for being the hacker who stole money from the illegal gambling site, there is no evidence to put him in prison. Even though he presented the banknote he gave his brother for college, it was still not enough to have imprisoned. Also, the case was already closed.

So instead, Sun Ho quits school to reflect on himself. He stayed with his father for two years and welcomed home his brother, who went into the military for his mandatory service.

After concluding his last class as a professor in the police university, Yoo Dong Man leaves the students with an important lesson. He went to lecture on how police officers can protect crime victims and the proper procedures needed to do so.

His last lesson struck the emotions of the students as it seemed personal. When Dong Man enumerated the unfortunate things a police officer may experience while working on a case, the students reminisced the many events throughout their years in the university.

"Sometimes, people will criticize you for no reason. Your colleague might get injured right in front of you, and you might lose your colleague for good during a chase. Times where you have to handcuff someone close to you. But as much as these are difficult, you'll be happy as you get closer to the truth." Dong Man also mentioned how everything that happened during an investigation is a memory a police officer should never forget.

After resting for two years, Sun Ho returns to the university. He shocked his friends, who are now in charge of training the recruits. As they meet again as seniors and newcomers, Sun Ho gets confused about how to treat his friends, but in the end, they let him talk casually to him.

Going back to the university for a new beginning was thanks to Dong Man's persistence and attempts to help and support Sun Ho in the best way possible. He approached Kwon Hyuk Pil, who is now the acting head of the university, and defended that Sun Ho will be a much better police officer than he is.

Police University Episode 16 Highlights The Importance Of Friendship And Justice

While Dong Man is busy doing his new job as the team captain, he does not forget to fetch Chul Jin when he is released from prison. Filled with heartwarming scenes, the two long-time partners reunited peacefully.

Dong Man gave Chul Jin a second chance and warned him that the next time he did something terrible, he would be dead to him immediately. To help Chul Jin recover from his life and move forward, Dong Man gave him a lease document where he had already paid the deposit. Chul Jin will use the property to build his restaurant and start anew.

Police University Episode 16 also taught the importance of having a strong sense of justice. The series proved that no matter how dark and evil the world might be, there will always be that small hope that will eventually shed light on even the most impossible case. Indeed, justice will always prevail.

When Sun Ho meets his friends again as he re-admits himself to the university, it shows that true friendship is with someone who will not bat an eye to give you a helping hand so you won't hit rock bottom.

As of this article's writing, KBS2 TV has not yet confirmed the news of whether Police University will return for Season 2.

If the Kdrama gets renewed for another season, the storyline will likely revolve around Kang Sun Ho continuing his journey towards his dream as a police officer. Yoo Dong Man returning to the university as a professor can also be a good plot. Another possible scenario would be Sun Ho successfully graduating from the police university and officially being appointed as Dong Man's partner.
