For now, we don't know anything about the upcoming Pokemon series. However, fans are hoping that we'll get to see Pokemon being voiced by big stars in the same way that Pikachu was voiced by a major Marvel actor in 2019.

There is little doubt that networks have been hoping to capitalize on the success of Detective Pikachu, which featured CGI versions of Pokemon alongside live-action actors. The movie, which starred Ryan Reynolds as the voice of Pikachu, went on to gross over $443 million worldwide and became the second-highest-grossing video game adaptation of all time.

The new live-action Pokemon series is just one of many projects that Netflix has lined up in the future. It was previously confirmed that the streaming giant is currently developing adaptations of video games like Far Cry and Splinter Cell but we have yet to get more news about these projects. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
