Atom’s Formula to Destroy the Earth

Dr. Ochanomizu monitors Atom, who recently awakened after Dr. Tenma installed a certain program in his AI. Uran can’t tell what it is, but before Atom woke up, she felt a great sadness spread with a boom.

Dr. Ochanomizu remembers Dr. Tenma talking about a certain method to wake Atom up.

Destroying Atom’s balance by infusing unbalanced emotions like anger and hatred will do the job. He realizes that hatred is etched in Atom.

Atom’s erratic behavior pushed him to write a formula on the walls of his confines.

He completed the formula in an instant, which Dr. Ochanomizu concluded was the formula to destroy the earth. It is a plan to use the antiproton bomb.

Atom escaped to Kudanshita, where Dr. Ochanomizu found him holding a snail. It triggers a fragment in Gesicht’s memory chip, where it shows Atom the time when Gesicht saved a young boy named Kurt from its hostage taker.

That same day, Gesicht found a messed-up robot, which he treated as his son after buying it for 500 Zeus. This child, whom they named Robita, allowed Gesicht to finally understand what it means to be alive.

Unfortunately, Robita did not last long, as Haas’ brother destroyed it in front of Gesicht. This incident pushed Gesicht to murder a human being, even if a robot like him was not made to kill humans.

Gesicht’s final moments were also shown, right before he was killed by Ali, in addition to the time when Gesicht talked with Adolf Haas.

Afterward, Atom faces Dr. Ochanomizu and says that he’s fine and back to normal.

Atom pays a visit to Brau-1589 to ask him a favor. Brau-1589 agrees to carry on Atom’s request to kill Roosevelt as Atom tries to stop Bora.

Dr. Tenma visits Brau-1589 to ask about Dr. Abullah’s whereabouts so he can stop him. Brau 1589 assures Dr. Tenma that Dr. Abullah will find him instead.

Brau 1589 also knows that Dr. Tenma installed Gesicht’s memory chip inside Atom.

Abullah kidnaps Dr. Tenma to show him a giant robot he refers to as Bora, which he says was created by Goji. He plans to transplant his brain into Bora and create the world’s most sophisticated cyborg.

Dr. Tenma refuted all of Abullah’s plans. He claims that Abullah is a robot he created years ago.

The real Abullah asked Dr. Tenma to create a perfect robot, but its artificial intelligence was so advanced that it didn’t wake up. And that perfect robot is Abullah, who awakened after receiving the real Abullah’s hatred.

Dr. Tenma also clarified that there’s no such thing as Goji, for Goji is the robot Abullah himself.

Atom reveals all the details about Gesicht’s investigation. Darius XIV developed a plan to turn his desert kingdom into a fertile land, so he asked Professor Abullah to create an earth-altering robot. This plan was later known as the Bora Project.

The Bora Project faced a lot of setbacks as each prototype Abullah created failed and was discarded. These prototypes were the ones discovered by Dr. Ochanomizu and his team in the graveyard of robots.

Then, Abullah sought the help of Dr. Tenma to complete the project. But Abullah lost his entire family in the 39th Central Asian War, giving him all the reasons to hate the world.

He also died in the war, but he left a part of his brain to Dr. Tenma.

Dr. Tenma created Goji, Abullah created Pluto, and Goji created Bora, just as they had planned.

Pluto inherited Abullah’s hatred, and he hated the seven most advanced robots as well as the Bora Inquiry Commission.

Now, Bora is no longer a robot designed to produce plant life, for it has become a weapon of mass destruction.

A weather robot informs President Alexander about the onset of volcanic eruptions around the world that will take thousands of lives.

It will first occur in Eden National Park, where a huge pool of magma eight kilometers below the surface rises due to the movement of ore-forming fluid.

Once it erupts, it will eject 100 million tons of cinder and ash per hour, and 700 degrees Celsius of pyroclastic flow with a speed that can reach 300 kilometers per hour will decimate areas within a several hundred-kilometer radius.

The devastation will be massive, covering the entire planet. In a few months, all biological life will be dead and the earth will be destroyed.

This cataclysmic event will happen if something artificial, such as the antiproton bomb, triggers the magma pool.

After the weather robot’s report, Roosevelt declared that robots would survive and that the remaining 10% of the human population would be his gift to President Alexander.

During the 108th military tribunal session, Darius XIV revealed that a huge bomb would erupt right below Thracia.

Dr. Ochanomizu realized that this devastation would happen on the same day that Abullah lost his family. The only robot who can stop Bora from inducing the eruption is Atom.

Atom fights Pluto, filled with hatred caused by the deaths of his six comrades.

He wants to destroy Pluto after what he has done to the seven greatest robots. He decapitates one of Pluto’s arms and pummels him to the ground.

Uran quickly senses Atom’s hatred for Pluto and wants him to stop. She assumes that there’s still kindness lingering inside Pluto’s heart since he’s not using the deadly tornado.

If Atom’s hatred drives him to kill Pluto, it will be difficult for his brother to move forward.

Dr. Ochanomizu followed Atom’s GPS in his attempt to save the boy robot. As Atom charged toward Pluto, he saw a vision of his six robot friends telling him that nothing would come out of hatred.

Atom stops attacking Pluto and begins to cry. Pluto also sheds tears and wonders why they are falling.

They’re filled with sorrow and grief, but they don’t understand it completely. Night came, and the two of them watched the sky peacefully as if they were friends.

Atom heads over the caldera to stop Bora from inducing the eruption, while Dr. Ochanomizu attempts to follow him from behind after contradicting Dr. Tenma’s thoughts about Atom, Bora, and the fate of the earth.

Atom tries to reason with Bora but to no avail. It will take five minutes to disable the bomb, but it will also take five minutes before Atom’s body starts melting from the magma’s heat.

Sahad (Pluto) appears to help protect Atom’s body as they charge in against Bora.

After Atom sent the antiproton bomb’s blueprint to Pluto, Pluto sent Atom away with his other arm to save him. Then, Sahad deals the final blow to Bora, while Atom saves Dr. Ochanomizu from harm.

A Peltier effect happens immediately after the magma freezes. The sky looks like a field of flowers, as Sahad longs to see. Atom says that Sahad saved the earth.

Before the anime ended, Atom asked Dr. Ochanomizu if they would ever see a day when there was no hatred.

What is certain is that Atom, along with the six greatest robots, Sahad, and Dr. Ochanomizu, is praying that someday it will happen.
