Platinum End English Dub – Cast, Crew, Premiere, and More


Anime streaming platform Funimation has just began streaming the English dub for the anime adaptation of Platinum End. Aside from Funimation, anime streaming platform, Crunchyroll is also streaming the anime’s English dub. The English dub is now available for streaming right now!

Alejandro Saab is voicing the main hero Mirai Kakehashi, Michaela Murphy is voicing Nasse, and Deman Mills is voicing Revel. David Walsh is directing the anime’s English dub.

Platinum End premiered in Japan on October 7 and is listed to have 24 episode. Both Funimation and Crunchyroll are streaming the anime (in Japanese language with English subtitles) as it airs in Japan.

Takeshi Obata and Tsugumi Ohba launched the Platinum End manga on November 2015 in Jump SQ magazine. the series’ 14th and final volume was released in February this year. The manga is licensed in English by VIZ Media has been simultaneously releasing the latest chapters in English since the manga’s launch. If you prefer print releases of the manga, VIZ Media is also releasing it in printed form.

Platinum End centers on the life of Mirai as his life changed forever when he was saved by an angel during his attempts of ending his life. He later finds out that he is one of the 12 chosen humans to fight in a battle in which the winner becomes the next God of the world.

Before Platinum End, both Obata and Ohba worked on two popular manga hits Death Note and Bakuman. Death Note was launched in December 2003 in the Weekly Shonen Jump until May 15, 2006. The popularity of the manga has also paved way for an anime adaptation which aired from October 3, 2006 to June 26, 2007 with a total of 37 episodes. Bakuman was launched in the Weekly Shonen Jump from August 11, 2008 to April 23, 2012. Its anime adaptation run from October 2, 2010 to March 30, 2013 with a total of 75 episodes.
