The Peter Sellers Continuity Era
The Peter Sellers continuity era held a lot of hope for the Pink Panther movies. Considering that the role of Inspector Jacques Clouseau had been originally played by Peter Sellers, the following movies had grown a connection with one another to create their storyline on the timeline:

- A Shot in the Dark (1964)
- The Return of the Pink Panther (1975)

The Post-Sellers Revival Era
As the title suggests, this was when the franchise was supposed to be revived after Sellers' passing.
