Petition to have Amber Heard Removed from Aquaman 2 Surpasses 100k Signatures

Not too long ago, a lot of people had been clamoring for Johnny Depp to get "canceled" after reports of him supposedly abusing his then-wife Amber Heard. What's interesting is new information has come out that reveals that it was actually Heard that was abusive to Depp, and now #JusticeForJohnnyDepp is going around on Twitter. What's more, a fan petition to have her removed from the Aquaman sequel has amassed quite the support.

As per the Remove Amber Heard from Aquaman 2 petition on Change.org, over 100k signatures have been collected in an attempt to get Heard removed from the film. The petition reads:

"Amber Heard has been exposed as a domestic abuser by Johnny Depp. In his $50 million lawsuit, Johnny Depp describes many incidents of domestic abuse that he suffered at the hands of his (then) wife Amber Heard, including one incident where she punched him twice in the face and another where she shattered his finger with a vodka bottle, and his finger had to be surgically reattached. He will bear the scar from that for the rest of his life."

Reports of Heard's abuse on Depp have accused her of systematically trying to ruin his career in Hollywood. For a while, it seems to have worked, since the public hate for Depp had been everywhere, especially at the height of the #MeToo Movement. Now with #JusticeforJohnnyDepp going around online, people are demanding that the media step up and try to expose what is happening when it comes to the case of Depp.

We don't know how all of this will go down, but for now, Heard still looks to be attached to the role of Mera in Aquaman 2.
