Peacemaker Drops New Poster and Featurette at NYCC 2021

Peacemaker is coming next year and luckily, we're learning a bit more about the upcoming The Suicide Squad spin-off series. A new poster and featurette have just been dropped at New York Comic Con 2021.

The Peacemakerposter was released as part of NYCC's promotions and it encourages fans to take a photo with the poster at the event. People can stand beside Christopher Smith who is saluting. Check it out below.

It's a cool poster that even includes a phone number you can call. We don't know what will happen when you dial 1-833-4PSSMKR but it would be interesting to find out.

In addition to the poster, we got a new Peacemakerfeaturette where the cast and crew talk about the upcoming HBO Max series. The video includes John Cena, director James Gunn, and the Suicide Squad cast discussing the character's qualities. It's an awesome glimpse at what makes Peacemaker tick and a great way to hype up the show's panel at DC FanDome.

These are great teasers for the series but when is the Peacemaker release date? For now, DC and HBO Max have not yet made an official announcement about the show's premiere date. However, there is a huge chance we'll find out at DC FanDome next week.

Peacemaker will bring back Cena as the titular character, as well as The Suicide Squad stars Steve Agee and Jennifer Holland. The new cast members include Danielle Brooks, Robert Patrick, Freddie Stroma, and Chukwudi Iwuji. There is no news yet if other key Suicide Squad characters will make an appearance in the upcoming show. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

The Peacemaker release date has not yet been announced although it could be revealed along with the show's trailer on DC FanDome next week. The series is already expected to premiere on HBO Max in January 2022.
