Peacemaker: Chukwudi Iwuji Teases 'Explosive' Last Two Episodes

The recent episode of HBO Max's Peacemaker was probably the wildest one yet as we see a Butterfly army invade an Evergreen police station, Eagly killing policemen and pecking their eyes, and Auggie putting in the White Dragon armor in order to kill his own son. In an episode before that, we see the team fight a Butterfly-infected gorilla where he ended up getting killed by John Economos with a chainsaw. Suffice to say, things are getting bonkers on the show and, as it turns out, the last two episodes might get more crazier.

Speaking with TV Insider, Chukwudi Iwuji, who plays Murn in the series, gave a tease on what's about to come in the last two episodes where he said that it's going to be chaotic and "explosive" as well as there will be some heartwarming and funny moments.

"Let me just put it this way: We only have two episodes to wrap up a lot of stuff. You can imagine it’s going to be very explosive, literally and figuratively explosive," Iwuji said. "Chaos is going to reign. Hilarity is going to be taken to another level. But at the heart of it, if you’ll excuse the pun, is the heart. James Gunn always somehow manages to infuse heart in the most unlikely moments, and there’s a hell of a lot of that left in the final moments."

With all the crazy things that happened in the series so far, it's not surprising that the last two episodes will be chaotic and explosive. However, it still remains to be seen what boundaries are they going to push as the plot of the series goes bonkers especially with what they set-up in the recent episode where the police department are now infected by the Butterfly and has issued a hunt against Peacemaker.

It is admirable that Gunn was able to get away with all the things that he did in the series, especially with the jokes against some of the iconic DC heroes. It's hard to imagine how chaotic and explosive will the last two episodes be as all bets are off on what could happen next since they are now dealing with an alien invasion.
