Park Seo Joon is officially part of Marvel Cinematic Universe’s upcoming film, The Marvels.
Buzz lurked around Park Seo Joon’s name as the She Was Pretty actor sparked rumors he would be part of the Captain Marvel sequel. His participation had been confirmed after he left South Korea to film his part in the flick.
He joined A-listers Brie Larson, Iman Vellani, and Teyonah Parris — among others — in the new movie.
Ahead of The Marvels release, Marvel Studios and Disney formally confirmed that he would be part of the film.

Park Seo Joon To Appear on Marvel Studios’ The Marvels
On Tuesday, The Korea Times quoted the statement by Marvel Studios, saying that the Itaewon Class star would appear in the upcoming superhero film.
The resident of The Walt Disney Company’s Asia-Pacific region, Luke Kang, shared similar news on November 20 during the Disney Content Showcase 2022 at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. The event marked the 100th founding anniversary of the Walt Disney Company.
“This is a meaningful event to reveal the APAC regional content in 2023,” he said, per Sports Chosun.
Luke Kang added that The Marvels would be released on big screens and streaming services next year.

The Captain Marvel sequel led Park Seo Joon to become the third South Korean star to be part of a Marvel movie. Previously, Claudia Kim and Ma Dong Seok appeared in Avengers: Age of Ultron and Eternals, respectively.
It remains unknown what role Park Seo Joon will play in the film. Some suggested that he potentially got Amadeus Cho's role. The character is a well-known Korean superhero in Marvel Comics who acquired Bruce Banner's powers.
However, fans noted that he is too young for the role, and the character is not connected with Captain Marvel in any way.
Another theory suggested that he might play Noh-Varr or Marvel Boy’s character, a Kree Empire soldier whose parents and girlfriend died after Dr. Midas attacked the Earth.
Park Seo Joon Praised by The Marvels Co-Star
Before Marvel Studios’ confirmation, his The Marvels co-star Iman Vellani revealed in an online press conference that Park Seo Joon is an amazing person who is easy to work with.
"Ah, Seo Jun is such an amazing person. But I'm afraid I can't give you anything more than this,” she said, as quoted by SBS News. "I promised Kevin Feige (Marvel Studios president) that I wouldn't give out any spoilers about the film. Just check things out next year."
