Hallyu is taking the world by storm by delivering smash hits and not to mention K-dramas like Squid Game, Parasite, All of Us Are Dead, and more.

Interestingly, apart from the series and movies that kept viewers hooked with every episode, South Korean stars are dominating the international scene.

From Park Seo Joon to award-winning star Lee Jung Jae and more, these five celebrities are set to have their Hollywood debut soon.

Park Seo Joon

The South Korean heartthrob made headlines after outfits reported that he will join the MCU family after landing a role in the highly anticipated Captain Marvel 2: The Marvels, with top stars Brie Larson, Zawe Ashton, Iman Vellani, and more.

Amid the rumors regarding Park Seo Joon’s The Marvels appearance, it was only in March 2022, through The Guardians where he officially confirmed that he will be a part of the Hollywood movie.

Lee Jung Jae

After continued achievement in the entertainment industry, through the success of Squid Game and his directorial debut Hunt, Lee Jung Jae will have his first international project after joining the Star Wars series The Acolyte.

During his appearance at the 7th London East Asia Film Festival, media outlets cited that the actor is gearing up for the movie but kept tight-lipped about the details regarding the project.

Lee Jung Jae explained that since this will be his Hollywood debut, he “has no choice but to follow such an opportunity.”

Apart from the upcoming international series, he will also reprise his role as Seong Gi Hoon in Squid Game 2.

Jung Ho Yeon

From one Squid Game star to another, Lee Jung Jae’s co-star Jung Ho Yeon is also set to have her Hollywood debut through the novel-based movie The Governesses.

The South Korean breakout star will join model-actress Lily-Rose Depp.

In addition, Jung Ho Yeon will also appear in the Apple TV series Disclaimer, starring award-winning actress Cate Blanchett.

Cha Eun Woo

Besides his charm, ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo has mesmerized Hollywood with his outstanding acting after he is selected to join the lead role in the upcoming movie K-pop: Lost in America with Rebel Wilson and Charles Melton.

Back in July, Soompi reported that the actor’s agency, Fantagio mentioned that he is “positively reviewing” [the offer] to star in the forthcoming movie “but nothing has been confirmed” at the time.

BLACKPINK’s Jennie

The Kpop star is set to become an actress after BLACKPINK Jennie will be starring in her first ever Hollywood series The Idol under HBO.

She will be working together with Lily-Rose Depp just like Jung Ho Yeon but on a different project.
