Our First Look at Superboy in DC Universe's Titans

DC Universe's Titans was the premier series for the streaming service and set the standard for future serials, with Doom Patrol spinning off from the show and doing well on its own. Titans was able to overcome its overly edgy marketing and ended up being a solid show that managed to fill in a lot of fanservice and dramatic storytelling. The season finale ended on a huge cliffhanger, with Dick Grayson being controlled by Trigon.

However, after the credits rolled, we were in for yet another treat as we saw Superboy break out of C.A.D.M.U.S, which has a lot of us excited.

Now, thanks to the wonders of Twitter, we have our first look at Joshua Orpin in the Superboy "costume" and he looks great. We say "costume" because Superboy has one of the simplest attires in comic book history, which isn't a bad thing and makes him very easy to cosplay. Some fans would even go as far as to say that he looks like he was ripped from the comics, which isn't an inaccurate statement.

It's not yet known if Superboy will be the one to break Trigon's control of Dick Grayson, especially since someone as strong as Donna Troy is in the group, but we'll have to wait and see. Either way, it looks like Titans will continue to entertain fans with its unpredictable stories, especially with Deathstroke, Jericho, and Rose Wilson coming to the show.

Titans season 1 can be streamed on DC Universe and Netflix in some countries. No release date for Titans season 2 has been revealed.
