Our Best Look at Black Widow's Costume Yet in Marvel's Avengers

After showcasing Captain America, Hulk, and Iron Man, Marvel's Avengers has decided to put the spotlight on Black Widow. We've already seen some of her gameplay, which looks pretty solid, and now we have our best look at her costume yet. Due to its simplicity and the fact that her costume is pseudo-realistic, Black Widow is arguably the game's best-looking character and this short preview is proof of that.

Disappointingly, the short preview doesn't show off her alternate costumes, which is a huge shame. Yeah, the character doesn't have that many costumes, to begin with, but the ones that everyone knows should at least get a highlight. At the least, they could have shown her original suit from the ‘70s or her villainess outfit during the time she was an Iron Man villain.

We'll probably get more costumes in the future since developer Crystal Dynamics confirmed that players can customize each of the Avengers. Some of the alternate costumes look much better than the base outfits we've seen, like Captain America's Secret Empire uniform or Iron Man's Original Sin armor. Black Widow looks like what most of us expect from her but it will be nice to get a glimpse at one of her alternates soon.

To be fair, Black Widow seems to be one of the more fun characters to use in the game. She looks way more fun than Iron Man, who might be the dullest hero to control, which is sad. How they integrate her into the missions where any characters can be used is going to be interesting, though the story sequences with her should be fun.

Marvel's Avengers comes to PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia on May 15, 2020.
