There is little doubt that Oscar Isaac has worked on several amazing projects that he could truly be proud of. However, it looks like he is most proud of his latest project. The Ex Machina star has just declared that Moon Knight is like his baby and is hoping that people will be blown away by the Marvel Cinematic Universe series next month!
It seems like Oscar Isaac was destined for Moon Knight. Even before his casting was officially announced, fans were hoping that the X-Men: Apocalypse actor would be cast as Marc Spector. Not surprisingly, Isaac himself is truly excited about being a part of the MCU series.
Isaac recently attended the SAG Awards for the first time and when he spoke to Extra, he was quick to hype up the premiere of Moon Knight.
"It comes out March 30th on Disney+," Isaac said of the MCU show. He then admitted that he feels very strongly about the series.
"I'm so excited, it's - it's turned out to be like my baby. I put everything into it," Isaac confessed. He then added that he hopes the series "blows people's minds as much as I think it will."
We can't really blame Oscar Isaac for feeling so strongly about the show. After all, this is the first time he is playing a Marvel protagonist and the character just happens to be one of the most complex heroes ever to be introduced in the Marvel comic books. With that in mind, we can't wait to see Isaac's version of the comic book hero later next month.
Moon Knight will also star Ethan Hawke, May Calamawy, and the late Garpard Ulliel. The series will consist of six episodes and will premiere on Disney+ on March 30, 2022.
