In case you missed it, Daredevil: Born Again is not featuring the return of the original Netflix cast members, namely, Deborah Ann Woll (who plays Karen Page) and Elden Henson (who plays Foggy Nelson), according to the absence of their names from the casting roll call. While the reason behind their sudden disappearance from the Disney+ reboot remains unknown, the new set photos have convinced fans on a theory.
Little is known on the timeline and story of Daredevil: Born Again, however, the newly revealed set photos suggest that the events of the reboot is set to take place during The Blip. Seeing as the Church bulletin board states “March 15, 2020”, fans were quick to presume this is a potential hint on the timeline theory of the Man Without Fear on the show.
Should this speculation be true, this could easily expand what Avengers: Endgame failed to take advantage of (basically, what happened during The Blip, in the duration where half the population vanished and coped their losses). Fans remain hopeful that Foggy and Karen would somehow return to reprise their respective roles on the reboot.

It is worth mentioning though that since this is a Daredevil: Born Again aka a Disney+ reboot that has no connection whatsoever to the original Netflix series, it is also possible that Foggy and Karen were just rendered as unnecessary in the new 18-episode series.
Let’s hope that’s not the case here, though, especially since they are two of Matt Murdock's closest friends and comrades. Not to mention, the most beloved fan-favorite characters on the show. It wouldn’t make sense to not include them.
If Karen and Foggy were in fact proven to have been blipped in this timeline, then it would make sense that the series is set to focus more on Matt Murdock and Kingpin’s origin stories altogether. For now, nothing has been confirmed by Disney and Marvel Studios yet.
