Executive producer and star Martin Short has revealed Only Murders in the Building Season 2 will have some iconic guest appearances in addition to its already stellar main ensemble.

Short co-stars in the show with Selena Gomez and Steve Martin as three strangers who become involved in the mystery murder of a neighbor in their New York City apartment complex.

The show was renewed for a second season in September and has subsequently received nominations for Golden Globes, Critics' Choice Awards, and People's Choice Awards.

Which Stars Will Join Only Murders in the Building Season 2?

According to Deadline, Short revealed that Shirley MacLaine and Amy Schumer will appear in Only Murders in the Building Season 2, as well as confirming that Nathan Lane's Teddy Dimas will return in future episodes.

MacLaine and Schumer's roles in the show are currently unknown. Short's remarks follow his first SAG Award nomination for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.“Before Christmas, [I shot scenes with] Shirley MacLaine and Amy Schumer. The quality of actor that this show is attracting makes it endlessly fun to go to work.”

The guest stars' announcement comes a month after Cara Delevingne was revealed to play a lead role in the series. She'll play Alice, "a sophisticated art world insider who becomes enmeshed in the mystery," Variety reports.
