The most recent chapter of One Piece shows chaos all over Onigashima as the flames continue to spread all over the island. Others are still fighting, while others are barely recovering. Meanwhile, Kid and Law are doing everything they can in their power to stop Big Mom from getting to the roof.
One Piece Chapter 1,038 Recap
On the third floor, Raizo and Fukurokuju are both covered in flames, but they refuse to undo their jutsu. Meanwhile, on the second floor, everyone is trying to escape out of the castle. Before the ceiling collapses, Jimbei holds it up and tells them to leave while they can.
Chopper is back to normal, but he's worried about Zoro since he will suffer twice the damage now. A grim reaper with a scythe appears in front of Zoro, who cannot move. On the other hand, Franky is also thinking about Zoro.
Izo successfully defeats a group of Beast Pirates and encounters CP0 right after. They let Izo slide off for now since they're at Onigashima to deal with the Straw Hats. However, Izo doesn't let them go just yet.
Somewhere in the basement, Yamato is rushing to the armory. He decides to freeze the bombs before it makes contact with the flame monster and directly attacks it.
Kid and Law seem to have passed out while Big Mom remains standing. Kid and Law's crews are worried for them, but Big Mom doesn't let them approach their captains. As Big Mom starts making her way to the roof, Law extends his sword and stabs her through the side of her face.
Law shocks Big Mom, causing her to cough out blood. As the iron beams start to attack Law, Kid uses his power to pull them away. Kid unleashes a large bull made of various parts, attacking Big Mom.

Momonosuke is still preventing Onigashima from crashing into the Flower Capital. He also hears someone calling him.
Kid and Law manage to break a couple of Big Mom's bones, but she heals quickly by using her Devil Fruit abilities. Law makes another large-scale attack, one that affects the whole of Wano.
Big Mom tells them that they can't defeat her. Kid also launches another attack, blasting Big Mom with an electromagnetic cannon.
