Wonder Woman 1984 is the next big DCEU film coming to theaters this year and the hype is unreal. The first movie was a critical darling and it was smart of Warner Bros to get Patty Jenkins to return for the sequel. Fans also really liked what they saw from the first trailer, giving us a more colorful setting, being the ‘80s after all, and some great music.
Thanks to Total Film (via GamesRadar) we have another official image from the movie, which has Diana in her classic outfit disarming some thugs. She doesn't have any problem taking these mooks down, which isn't surprising since Diana punches tanks for breakfast but it is always nice to see them display her strength in such a cool manner.
Fans hoping to see the first official image of Cheetah are going to be disappointed since it looks like DC and Warner Bros really want her form to be a surprise. In the meantime, we're more than down with having her kick some regular thug butt, though more tank punching and bullet reflecting would also be nice. Another trailer would also be really awesome.
Another aspect that's worth talking about is how this movie is going to have to handle some of the odd continuity changes that have been made now that Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill have reportedly left. Hopefully, Wonder Woman 1984 will be entertaining enough that most fans won't care for that.
