Marvel Entertainment recently released the trailer of its newest documentary special, Marvel's Behind The Mask which will focus on the power of identity of our most loved superheroes from Marvel.
It has been no question that superheroes have their own separate lives living with the humans with normal life as everyone else has and they keep their identities hidden to protect their person while mingling with other people especially those who are close to them.
Since the inception of Marvel comics, Marvel has given great importance to the evolving concept of equal rights wherein the stories of the iconic superheroes we all got to love and know reflect our own identities in our daily lives as to who we really are.
Behind The Mask will be featuring the 80-year legacy of Marvel with eight decades of imparting stories of heroes and villains alike. The documentary special will include writers and artists who gave us our dearly beloved characters like Miles Morales, Black Panther, the X-Men, Captain Marvel, the Avengers, and the vast role of characters spanning the Marvel Universe.
The documentary special will be putting on the spotlight the impact of Marvel on pop culture, media, and the daily lives of comic book readers and fans.

From the very inception of comic books, secret identities have been an integral part of both super heroes and villains leading "normal" lives. But it's the characters beneath that resonate within us across generations of fans. Since the advent of the Marvel Age of Comics in the early 1960s, Marvel's writers and artists have used the notion of identities to examine the evolving concept of equal rights. These legendary Marvel creations and stories have not only reflected the world outside our window – they have become a reflection of our own identities and who we truly are.
Marvel's Behind the Mask will feature guests from across Marvel's 80-year legacy, including the writers and artists behind the rise of characters like Black Panther, Miles Morales, Ms. Marvel, Luke Cage, the X-Men, Captain Marvel, and many other characters in the Marvel Universe, highlighting Marvel's impact on pop culture and media.
Being the basis of the ever-expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe that many are highly invested in, Behind The Mask will feature how the characters have come into life and how they have evolved throughout the years in the publication of comics.
As early as the 1960s, Marvel has been producing stories of both superheroes and villains which inspired many readers to stay tuned to the lives of their favorite Marvel character.
Marvel New Media and Tarmac Creative will be producing Behind The Mask and the documentary special will be directed by Michael Jacob, produced by Chris gray and Tyan Simon, with Sarah Amos, Joe Quesada, Shane Rahmani, Harry Go, John Cerilli, and Stephen Wacker as the executive producers.
Behind The Mask will premiere on February 12, 2021, via Disney+.
