The entire Star Wars community was shaken to its very core this week as Lucasfilm finally began revving up the hype engine for the highly anticipated Obi-Wan Kenobi series ahead of its May 25th release. Yesterday, exclusive first-look images featuring returning Star Wars icon Ewan McGregor were finally released along with the teaser trailer which literally came out of nowhere.
Now, if that wasn't enough to get your attention, Entertainment Weekly continues to be the gift that keeps on giving and after unveiling our first look at the Obi-Wan series yesterday, the magazine is finally giving us our official glimpse at Hayden Christensen's version of Darth Vader. The image only sees a silhouette of the former Anakin Skywalker in his fortress but it's already sinister-looking. Check out the menacing image here:

The epic rematch between Obi-Wan and Anakin is something we never thought we'd witness and I'm beyond stoked to see how it fares compared to their iconic battle in Revenge of the Sith. It'll be interesting to see if Lucasfilm will be able to top that but let's be honest, the original duel between the two in A New Hope left a lot to be desired so I'm pretty sure their clash in Obi-Wan Kenobi will be 100 times better by default.
