Not surprisingly, Star Wars fans are loving the tweet which has now has over 60,000 retweets and more than 262,000 likes. In addition to that, the replies are filled with a fitting response to Kenobi's legendary "Hello there": Sam Witwer recording his lines as Darth Maul screaming "Kenobi!"

The Obi-Wan Kenobi Twitter account is so new that it hasn't even been verified yet but it now has over 110,000 followers. There is little doubt that the numbers will grow as more people find out that the show is now on social media.

In addition to the awesome first look at Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi, EW also revealed our first glimpse at a completely new Star Wars character played by Moses Ingram.
