New Spider-Man: No Way Home Photo Reveals Doc Ock Chase Scene

There is little doubt that everyone is looking forward to Spider-Man: No Way Home. For some, it has a lot to do with Alfred Molina's return as Dr. Otto Gunther Octavius. Now, we have a new glimpse at what Doc Ock will be up to in the upcoming sequel. A new photo from the film teases an epic chase as the villain goes after Peter Parker.

Fans were understandably thrilled when it was confirmed that Molina would reprise his role as Doctor Octopus in Spider-Man 3. People were also delighted when the character showed up briefly in the film's first teaser. Luckily, we now have a better look at what Doc Ock was doing in that particular scene.

The new image was shared by Empire magazine and it expands on the freeway scene that appeared in the trailer. Interestingly, it confirms that Peter will not be as brave as we hoped when he meets Doc Ock. Check it out below.

It's great to see that Molina's character will not hesitate to get into the action right away. However, it's also strange to see that Peter is running away from the villain. There could be more happening in the scene and we're hoping to learn about it soon.

There's another cool detail that is confirmed in the Spider-Man 3 still. There have been speculations that Molina's villain is speaking to Tobey Maguire's version of the webslinger. However, the photo reveals that it was Tom Holland's Spidey all along. Still, fans are convinced that Maguire and Andrew Garfield will both appear as different versions of Peter in the movie.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is directed by Jon Watts and also stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Jon Favreau, Marisa Tomei, J. B. Smoove, Benedict Wong, and Jamie Foxx. The film is currently scheduled to hit theaters on December 17, 2021.
