From classic films to cinematic stories hitting digital streaming platforms, this article navigates the best new flicks available for each streamer: Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, you name it!

New Movies Hitting Netflix This Week

  • Book Club (2018)
  • Kung Fu Panda 4 (2024)
  • Family Pack (2024)
  • Don't Move (2024)
  • The Remarkable Life of Ibelin (2024)

Apart from bringing back the classic Book Club and of course, Kung Fu Panda 4 officially hitting streamers, Family Pack, Don't Move, and The Remarkable Life of Ibelin offer a variety of themes.

Family Pack has a similar storyline to Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, Don't Move is for lovers of escape thrillers, while The Remarkable Life is a documentary film of a Norwegian gamer with a degenerative muscular disease at age 25.

Here's What Prime Video Has in Store

  • Canary Black (2024)
  • Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween

There are two mood films subscribers can take on Prime Video: Canary Black is a survival action flick where Avery Graces must save her husband before the terrorists kill him.

The other is Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween ā€” and it came just in time for the Spooktober season. Something to binge-watch with your kids this Halloween.

The Best Flicks Coming to Hulu This Week

  • Carved (Hulu Original)
  • The Speedway Murders (2023)
  • Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band
  • The Beast Within (2024)

Hulu doesn't stray from the previous streamers as the upcoming flicks lie between action-thrillers and a documentary film.

Specifically, Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band offers an "in-depth look" at their legendary live performances. From band rehearsals to secret backstage moments, Springsteen is here to answer fans' most burning questions.

What to Watch on Disney+ This Week

Similar to what Hulu offers, Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band is also available to stream on Disney+.

HBO and Max are Streaming These New Flicks

  • Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths Part Three (2024)
  • Breath of Fire
  • Trap (2024)

Wait no further as the animated Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths Part Three arrives on HBO and Max this week.

Meanwhile, an HBO Original, Breath of Fire, spotlights astrologer Katie Griggs on how she rose to fame from Kundalini yoga to reinventing herself as Guru Jagat in this "uneasy nexus of the American dream" of a documentary film.

M. Night Shyamalan's psychological thriller Trap hits the streamer this week, too. Trap follows the chilling twist of a story on who the killer might be as fans get stuck at the concert arena with a suspected murderer on the loose.

New Films Worth Watching on Paramount+ This Week

  • Tale of Tales (2015)

Yet another horror fantasy, Tale of Tales, is available for streaming, but on Paramount+. Don't let the title fool you, this is no happily ever after-centered story.

If anything, it depicts the fairy tale with "creepy imagery" as the rulers are taken by monsters and creatures with gory intentions.

What Apple TV+ Has in Store This Week

Nothing new has been added to Apple TV+ as of this time. However, the streamer is releasing a 10-episode psychological thriller series titled Before on October 25.

The show stars award-winning actor and filmmaker Billy Crystal and airs its new episodes every Friday through December 20.
