New Details on Robert Pattinson's The Batman Costume Should Get Fans Hyped

The Batman, directed by Matt Reeves and starring Robert Pattinson, will be coming out in 2021 and fans are interested to see a new version of this iconic character. Knowing that this new film series will essentially reboot the events of Batman V Superman and Justice League is going to spark a lot of interest since we'll all want to see some sort of Flashpoint-style reboot to make things sensible.

Still, as we wait for more details, a now-deleted tweet from Variety reporter Kris Tapley (via GeekyTyrant), stated that the new costume for The Batman will be based on the art of Lee Bermejo. For those unaware, Bermejo is an artist that tries to make his Batman costumes more realistic than usual, as the graphic novel Batman: Noel showed.

It will be pretty interesting to see what this costume is going to look like in live-action since seeing a costume says more than simply imagining one. Frankly, basing a costume on the art of Lee Bermejo is far from a bad idea, given how detailed his costumes for the character tend to be. No joke, look at Batman: Noel, that graphic novel has some killer art.

Fans should take this report with a grain of salt since Warner Bros has yet to confirm this but the deletion of this tweet does make the report a little more believable. That's just how we humans are programmed since deleting information about a new costume is going to make us assume that it's going to be a little bit true.

The Batman will be coming out on June 25, 2021.
