New Aladdin Teaser Gives Us More of Genie's 'Never had a Friend Like Me' Number

One of the biggest selling points of the upcoming Aladdin film is Will Smith's performance as the Genie, and a lot of Disney fans can't wait to see his Never Had a Friend Like Me sequence. The trailers have given us a small tease of the song, but a new teaser actually has Smith performing the chorus, plus some other things.

If you've watched the original Aladdin, you'll know that the Genie has rules when it comes to wishes, and we get two out of the three in this film. Genie can't make anyone fall in love, raise people from the dead, and he also can't kill anyone. This is also not an official rule, but he doesn't allow people to wish for more wishes either.

While Genie's look for the movie has been a big source of scorn from the fans, I think a lot of people will eventually warm up to it when they actually go and see the film. Will Smith totally brings it with his natural charisma, and though he isn't Robin Williams, I think he can totally make the character his own when it comes to this film.

A thrilling and vibrant live-action adaptation of Disney's animated classic, "Aladdin" is the exciting tale of the charming street rat Aladdin, the courageous and self-determined Princess Jasmine and the Genie who may be the key to their future.

Disney's live-action Aladdin comes out May 24.
