The late Sulli's short film, Persona: Sulli or Persona 2, will reportedly be out on Netflix, and fans have different feelings about it.

According to reports, Sulli managed to film one part of the show until it was suspended due to her untimely passing in October 2019. Hence, many question if it's right to release Persona 2 after her demise.

Netizens React to Netflix's Release of Persona 2 After Sulli's Death

Persona is a short movie directed by several directors with only one subject called the "persona."

Its first iteration was released in April 2019 and featured IU.

As Persona 2 will reportedly be out featuring Sulli, fans have mixed reactions to it.

In a post on AllKpop, some accused the streaming giant of exuding the "American ideology of capitalism" for doing everything for money.

"It shouldn't be revealed. This is not the U.S. American capitalism is appalling. Let her rest in peace," one fan explained.

"Please let her rest in peace. Money isn't everything," another said.

Others even blamed Choiza, the hip-hop recording artist Sulli dated from 2013 to 2017, for tainting Sulli's image badly.

"I still think Choiza was in the wrong because he was so much more mature than Sulli. He was the closest one that influenced her...," a netizen stated.

"The fact that Choiza dated Sulli doesn't really make him the bad person. But the song he released while openly dating Sulli tarnished her public image and threw her under the bus. Any right-minded man will never write such lyrics with his own girlfriend or wife," another argued.

Some also accused Netflix of capitalizing on Sulli's death, asking Persona 2's release to be stopped unless it wanted to "monetize every single popular figure's suicide."

Netflix to Reportedly Release Persona 2

A Netflix official allegedly told Daily Sports via AllKpop, that the Mystic Story-produced Personal 2 is "currently under an overall discussion" on whether to release it for streaming and its final release date.
