Nana began her career in the world of South Korean entertainment during her teenage years. She made her debut as a member of the K-pop group After School in 2009.

Under Pledis Entertainment, the celebrity, alongside some members of the group, formed sub-units in the following years.

Despite the success and popularity, the label halted the promotions of the all-female act. The members have since gone their separate way to embark on individual careers.

On Nana’s part, though, she stayed with the label, working on various projects. In 2019, she signed her exclusive contract with the agency and has since remained active.

Exclusive Contract Renewal For The Third Time

Nana renewed her contract with Pledis Entertainment on December 8, according to AllKpop. This marked her third time to do so with the label.

The agency released an announcement upon signing the deal. In its official statement, the label confirmed the renewal, noting that they will continue the “partnership based on the deep trust” they have built since her debut.

Pledis Entertainment also assured fans and followers that the company will “fully support” the celebrity, allowing her to continue her “wide range of activities.”

In the end, the label shared its hope of continued “warm support and interest in the future” from Nana’s fans.

Upcoming Projects, Activities For Nana

The public has seen Nana accomplish several series and film projects even amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Between 2020 and 2021, she had three television series, Into The Ring (Memorials), Oh! Master, and Genesis and a film, Confession.

She also has an upcoming series on Netflix titled, Glitch. It was supposed to premiere this year but, delays happened due to COVID-19. It will now reportedly drop on the platform in 2022.

Recent reports claimed, as well, that Nana was in talks with the streaming giant for another series material, Mask Girl. There is little information about the matter, but the production is currently finalizing the cast.
