My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising Gets First English Dub Trailer

Funimation has released the first English dubbed trailer of My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising, the second film in this ridiculously popular franchise. The movie has a lot of fans excited since it's going to take place sometime after My Hero Academia Season 4 and will give plenty of our favorite characters time in the spotlight. It already looks a lot better than the first My Hero film Two Heroes, which just looked like a tv movie if you don't count the first and last scenes, which were gorgeous.

Hearing voice actors like Justin Briner and Clifford Chaplin voice Midoriya and Bakugo respectively should make fans of the fantastic Funimation dub smile. It also looks like fan-favorite voice actor Johnny Young Bosch will be voicing Nine, already giving him a menacing presence. Will this lead to My Hero One's Justice 2 getting a dub? Probably not but you never know.

In My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising, Class 1-A visits Nabu Island where they finally get to do some real hero work. The place is so peaceful that it's more like a vacation ... until they're attacked by a villain with an unfathomable Quirk! His power is eerily familiar, and it looks like Shigaraki had a hand in the plan. But with All Might retired and citizens' lives on the line, there's no time for questions. Deku and his friends are the next generation of heroes, and they're the island's only hope.

My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising hits US and Canadian theaters next week, on February 26.
