In the last episode, Marin tried her best to convince Juju to have a group cosplay of Flower Princess Blaze!!. Juju declined at first because she was used to working alone. She even explained that she was planning to rent a studio which gave Marin and Gojo an idea. They would pay for the expenses in exchange for a group cosplay.
Juju eventually agreed, and Gojo started working on the outfits. On the other hand, Gojo showed his grandfather his progress in his doll-making skills which made the old man happy. He even encouraged Gojo to continue improving his tailoring skills and make-up skills with Marin.
Gojo visited Marin’s place to watch Flower Princess Blaze!!. The two ended up having a “date” at her place. What will happen to the group cosplay? Fans will have to wait for episode 8 of My Dress-Up Darling to know the outcome of Marin and Gojo’s second cosplay event.

“I Really Recommend Backlighting” or episode eight of My Dress-Up Darling will be released on February 27, 2022 at 12:30 AM. The episode is available on Tokyo MX, Crunchyroll, and Funimation. Those who cannot access Tokyo MX can turn to the two streaming platforms.
The streaming sites have a free trial period which is perfect for those who are looking for a platform to watch My Dress-Up Darling for free. After the trial period, viewers must sign up to continue watching. Funimation has a membership fee of $5.99 per month or $59.99 per year while Crunchyroll’s rates are $9.99 per month or $79.99 per year.
Members can stream My Dress-Up Darling any time they wish to, even offline. They don’t have to worry about ads too. Simulcasts are also offered by the sites for fans to be able to watch the episode one hour after Japan.
As for the English dubbed version, only Funimation offers this for now. Crunchyroll added My Dress-Up Darling to its library but it only offers the original version with Japanese audio and English subtitles. Episode eight will introduce another character in the series.
