Doctor Strange 2 First Clip Features an Epic Battle Between Doctor Strange and Gargantos

Now that we're an inch away from the MCU's highly-anticipated Doctor Stange in the Multiverse of Madness, promotional materials such as TV spots and teasers constantly drop weekly, adding more anticipation for the upcoming film. Luckily, fans are in for a treat as the first clip of the Doctor Strange sequel was finally unveiled by Marvel.

The exclusive clip shows Benedict Cumberbatch's titular hero trying to save MCU newcomer Xochitl Gomez's America Chavez from a terrifying creature Gargantos.

The clip highlights Strange's abilities and the versatility of the sorcerer's abilities. Aside from that, Gargantos also takes the spotlight in fighting the Marvel sorcerer, throwing a bus at him. The conclusion of the clip shows Doctor Strange cutting the bus in half.

With how often Gargantos was used as a promotional element for the film, it looks like the scene where Doctor Strange and Gargantos are battling is the first and last appearance of the creature. Few trailers and TV spots show that Wong would also fight Gargantos and would cut the creature in pieces at some point.

While this clip teases what to expect with the upcoming film, unluckily, Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch wasn't present in the said scene.

With rumors swirling around that Wanda would be causing chaos for Doctor Strange and the multiverse, it would certainly be awesome to see a scene where Wanda would showcase how much her powers have grown after being developed into her comics counterpart, the Scarlet Witch.

Nevertheless, the Doctor Strange sequel continues to drop teasers that hint at plenty more surprises waiting for the fans. The latest teaser reveals a mysterious character carrying the Captain America infamous shield, which is Marvel's way of saying that there is a lot more to expect with the upcoming film.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will hit the big screens on May 4.
