Mortal Kombat Sub-Zero Actor Wants to Play Green Lantern

Any actor would love to take on a superhero role and most are probably aiming to play one of the big ones like Superman or Batman. However, Bayardo De Murguia has his eye on a different comic book character. The actor who plays Sub-Zero in Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms has admitted that he has his eye on playing a Green Lantern.

De Murguia will provide the voice of Kuai Liang/Sub-Zero in the upcoming animated film and although it's an awesome role, the voice actor is looking for another amazing part.

De Murguia recently spoke to ComicBookMovie where he was asked about his dream role. Not surprisingly, the actor admitted that he wants to take on a superhero role but not one of the more well-known ones.

"Ohh...I mean, everyone always wants to be Batman," De Murguia said with a laugh. He then shared the character that he is truly hoping to play.

"You know what, for the future, because I'm Mexican-American, I'd take a swing at Kyle Rayner who is one of the Green Lanterns. He's also Mexican-American, so I would say him. You haven't seen much of him and I'd like to give it a shot one day," De Murguia said.

Kyle Rayner is truly an awesome choice for De Murguia and there is a possibility that Warner Bros. might be looking for someone to play the character in Green Lantern Corps. Hopefully, we'll get to see the casting in the future.
