Morbius Final Trailer Teases Jared Leto Becoming 'The Bad Guy'

The time has finally come. Morbius is finally set to hit theaters after over two years of delay and this is being celebrated by Sony Pictures as they dropped the film's final trailer. This time, the teaser could confirm that Jared Leto's Michael Morbius might not be able to resist his bloodlust and ultimately become the bad guy!

The Morbius final trailer opens with a group of men making their way into a seemingly abandoned ship. However, they sense they are not alone and this is confirmed as the Living Vampire takes them down one by one.

These aren't exactly the actions of a good guy but Michael Morbius is clearly trying to do something good. As his mentor asks him what he has done, Michael states that he is trying to help people but he realizes that the cure he has found is actually a curse.

Michael learns more about his powers which comes with a tremendous thirst for blood. He points out that he can choose to hunt to save himself or die stopping himself from hurting anyone. His mentor tells him that he can choose to control the hunger but Michael wonders what would happen if he cannot do so.

The final Morbius trailer also features more footage of Michael Keaton's Adrian Toomes who seems to know about the Living Vampire. We also get to see Matt Smith's mysterious character who torments Michael over his guilt and urges him to accept that he is the bad guy.

So who is the real bad guy here? Will Michael Morbius manage to control his thirst and save people or will he ultimately become the villain? We'll find out for sure this April.

Morbius stars Jared Leto, Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, Jared Harris, Al Madrigal, and Tyrese Gibson. The film will hit theaters on April 1, 2022.
