MOMOLAND last made a music production earlier this year. They collaborated with CHROMANCE for a cover of Wrap Me In Plastic.

It was in 2020, however, that they released their latest single album. Ready or Not served as the all-female act’s third music collection.

It was unclear, then, when the K-pop group would make an official comeback. But, MLD Entertainment recently released an announcement, informing the public about their artists’ return to the scene in 2022, according to Koreaboo.

MOMOLAND Announces 2022 Comeback

The news first emerged on December 28. The agency that handles MOMOLAND confirmed that the group will make an official comeback on January 14, 2022.

No further details have been shared, though, about the six K-pop idols’ return to the music space. Nevertheless, reports said that the comeback will feature a new single.

It is likely that more information will surface in the next few weeks. The same seemingly applies to the teasers and other promotional materials.

Recent Activities, Engagements

MOMOLAND may have not released any album or single in the last few months. But, Soompi reported that the all-female K-pop group has remained active in their public engagements.

The six K-pop idols have maintained their communications with fans across the globe. They have utilized various online platforms to continue their engagements with their avid followers.

Alongside this, the group has also done different online performances and live broadcasts. Moreover, they have continued to share numerous content materials on their YouTube channel.

The K-pop act won an award, as well, at the 2021 Asia Artist Awards. They bagged the award for the Best Choice category.

About The Now-Six-Member K-Pop Group

The group originally had seven members. They debuted in late 2016, following months of delays for their official introduction.

In 2017, two more idols joined the group and became official members of MOMOLAND. They, however, left the group alongside one original member in between 2019 and 2020.
