There's a lot of things we didn't get to see in the first season of Loki. For instance, there's the King Loki scene that would have been in the premiere episode of the show. However, the one thing that people were really hoping to see was Mobius finally getting a jet ski. So is that going to be something to look forward to in Loki Season 2?
It's no secret that Mobius was obsessed with jet skis. It's one of the first things we learn about the TVA agent when Loki discovers a copy of Wave magazine on Mobius' desk. With that in mind, fans were hoping Mobius achieves his dream. Unfortunately, the first season concluded and still no Mobius on a jet ski.
So what are the chances Mobius will finally get his jet ski in Loki Season 2? Director Kate Herron told Collider that it's something that the new director must work on immediately.
"So I guess that's the task, right? Of whoever directs it next, they have to get him on his jet ski," Herron said. She then added that it's the perfect way to start the second season.
"If that's not the opening of Season 2..." Herron started before pointing out how everyone on the show loved jet skis. On the other hand, they were also certain that Mobius "was not going to be on one." Still, Herron believes that it would be something nice to see in the second season.
"I think definitely; I'm sure that will be a treat for the next season," she said.
For now, it is unclear whether Mobius will eventually get on a jet ski and ride off into the sunset away from the TVA and back to his old life. Nevertheless, we're hoping that he's the one character in Loki who eventually gets a happy ending.
All episodes of the first season of Loki are now streaming on Disney+. Loki Season 2 has not yet been given an official release date. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
