Street Men Fighter Coming Summer 2022
Kwon Young Chan, the chief producer of Street Woman Fighter, alongside production teams and staff members are set to lead Street Men Fighter immediately after the finals of Street Dance Girls Fighter.
The news was confirmed by the production through an exciting teaser released on January 4, Tuesday. In particular, the teaser showed the logo of the Street Woman Fighter, with the letter W inverted to form the letter M, which symbolizes the men’s turn to grace the dance floor.
It was earlier mentioned by CP Kwon that he had plans to produce a male version of the dance competition show but was delayed due to issues surrounding the potential dance crews. But now that the teaser has been released, it is a green light for fans to continue anticipating the male dancers’ takeoff.
Will Street Woman Fighter Have Season 2?
The Mnet female dance competition show Street Woman Fighter premiered on August 24 and has been actively generating a lot of buzz in the online community. Right after the finals, a spin-off of the show, Street Dance Girls Fighter, was released which featured dance crews consisting of high school girls. After airing every Tuesdays at Mnet, Street Dance Girls Fighter concluded on January 4, 2022.
The first installment, Street Woman Fighter, is continuously creating headlines side by side with each dance crew appearing on television minute after minute. This craze popped out the question whether the successful show will return for a season 2.
The producer of the program, himself, avoided the question and further promoted Street Men Fighter which is scheduled to premiere this summer. However, it is not impossible for Street Woman Fighter Season 2 after Street Men Fighter as there are still lots of female dance crews in South Korea that are waiting for their turn in the spotlight.
