Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid S is off to a great start, with Episode 2 continuing to keep our serotonin levels at their highest.
Once again, nothing was lacking from the most recent episode—it provided us with just the right amount of laughs with a dash of classic character interactions and dynamics. We finally learn more about Ilulu, the newest addition to the list of dragons in Kobayashi's life. In this episode, we find out if she's a friend or a foe.

The second episode started with where the first episode left off—it seems that Ilulu has turned Kobayashi into a guy. Kobayashi seems to struggle with it for a bit, but this doesn't faze her. She understands Ilulu's situation well. Ilulu loved playing with humans as a kid, but a series of events caused her to believe that humans and dragons simply cannot co-exist.
Meanwhile, Kobayashi is patient and understanding. She even sees her old self in Ilulu, so she's trying her best to change Ilulu's mindset regarding humans. When an enemy appears in front of Ilulu, Kobayashi defends her. They have a heart-to-heart talk and Ilulu finally softens up in front of Kobayashi.
Ilulu is now staying at the Kobayashi household while she figures out what she wants to do, much to Tohru's dismay. Seems like we'll be seeing more of jealous Tohru in the upcoming episodes!
