Ming-Na Wen Celebrates Playing Another Bad-Ass Character in Netflix's Yasuke

It's no secret that Ming-Na Wen is a bad-ass and she loves playing similar characters in all of her projects. Not surprisingly, the Agents of SHIELD star's latest series is no different. Wen is celebrating her awesome new role in the anime Yasuke where she is once again playing a bad-ass.

Wen took to her official Twitter account to celebrate the premiere of Yasuke and she did it in her one magnificent way. Take a look at her tweet below.

"Yes, I get to be badass again. It NEVER gets old!" Wen wrote. "Epic & beautiful anime series. Watch #YasukeNetflix NOW!!"

In Yasuke, Wen plays Natsumaru, a lady samurai who serves the warlord Oda Nobunaga. We won't spoil anything about Natsumaru's role in the anime (in case some of you have not yet seen it) but we can assure you that she's got some amazing moves in the show.

We're loving the idea of Wen playing yet another bad-ass and one who has connections (albeit fictional) to three of the most important historical bad-asses in Japan. Needless to say, Yasuke is a must-watch for all Ming-Na Wen fans.

Playing Natsumaru is just one of Wen's bad-ass roles this year. She is set to return as the younger version of Fennec Shand in Star Wars: The Bad Batch on May 4. Wen will then portray the live-action version of the Mandalorian character in The Book of Boba Fett, which is scheduled for release in December this year.

Yasuke is now streaming on Netflix.
