Miley Cyrus reportedly reacted to her mom's dating life. Her mother Tish Cyrus, 55, is romantically linked to Prison Break star Dominic Purcell, 52.
Miley Cyrus Is Reportedly 'Thrilled' About Her Mom Tish Cyrus' Dating Life
The Wrecking Ball star has some thoughts about her mom's dating life. According to an insider, she was "thrilled" about it.
"Miley hasn’t seen her mom this happy in a while and she couldn’t be more thrilled for her. Miley thinks Dominic is kind and respectful and has many of the qualities her mom needs in a partner," the anonymous source told Hollywood Life.
A second source said Miley had been supportive of her mom during her parents' divorce.
"Miley and Tish are mother and daughter, but they are also the absolute bestest [sic] of friends and Miley was there for her every step of the way leading up to her divorce from her dad Billy," a source close to Miley said.
Miley's mom reportedly told her she was done with romance. However, Tish had a change of heart when she met Purcell.
Miley Cyrus' Mom Tish Is Reportedly Happy With Dominic Purcell
Tish's new romance came after over seven months after her divorce from Billy Ray Cyrus, 61. Miley's parents were married for over 28 years before they separated in 2021.
She has moved on with Purcell and is reportedly very happy with him.
"He makes her laugh and he makes her feel safe and comforted. Tish is a strong, independent woman on her own, so it takes an equally strong man to compliment her," the insider added.
"But Dominic totally fits that mold and she thinks they make a really great couple. Miley completely supports her mom and as long as Tish is happy, then Miley is all for it."
Miley Cyrus' Dad Billy Ray Has Also Moved On From Her Mom Tish
Billy Ray Cyrus has also moved on from his ex-wife, Tish. Last month, he announced his engagement to singer-songwriter Firerose, 34. According to Billy Ray and Firerose they were best friends before their romance started.
"Billy confided in me a lot of what was going on in his life," she said alluding to his marital strife, People reported. "I was just the best friend I could possibly be, supporting him."
"There was sickness and death, and hard times," Billy Ray said of life during the pandemic. "All of the sudden, the life that I've always known as a touring artist didn't exist anymore. A moment of so much change. And at the same time, Firerose, who had been such a light of positivity, such a best friend."
"And then when we began sharing the music, it just evolved more into, as musical soulmates, to soulmates, happy, pure love that to me, I didn't know could exist. Again, we're musicians, first and foremost, both of us. And we found this harmony, and this rhythm, this melody to life."
