Melissa isn't only a TV personality. She's also an author, singer, designer, and businesswoman.
After joining TRHNJ in 2011, she appeared on the magazine cover of Boardwalk Journal and joined in the pictorials for Paper and Us Weekly.
She also tried her hands at making music, releasing the single "On Display" on iTunes in 2011. She released a four-song album and dropped two more singles on iTunes in 2012. Her fourth single came in the same year.

However, come 2016, she told E! News she would stop making music but might return to do in the future.
From there, she published the book Love, Italian Style: The Secret of My Hot and Happy Marriage in 2013. She also released a jewelry line on HSN in 2014 and opened a clothing boutique, Envy by Melissa Gorga, in 2015.
She also opened a restaurant in East Hanover in 2017, though it closed in 2018. Starting in 2021, she starred in the spinoff The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip on Peacock.

Melissa Gorga, Teresa Giudice’s Feud
Giudice tried to make peace on TRHNJ but didn't succeed after her daughter, Gia, opened up about their "fractured family."
By the looks of it, the feud between the Gorgas and Giudice has also affected their kids.
Giudice tried to reach out to her brother, asking, "You wanna make peace?"
Though Joe wanted to, he also hoped to "move forward" without discussing any issues from their past, as it would just upset him all over again.

"My therapist says it's not good to talk about the past because you're never gonna get anywhere," Giudice said.
She invited her brother to her homecoming party, but only his wife, Melissa, showed up.
But when the latter tried talking to Giudice's kids, Gia and Gabriella, the former said in the confessional, "every time my mom and Joe have drama, automatically the kids get separated. A wall just goes up."
